Married at First Sight UK viewers were left bemused by Peggy’s lavish and somewhat bizarre family home on Monday.
During the latest episode the couples were given a taste of their new partner’s real lives away from the experiment, with Peggy taking Georges to her parent’s massive Tudor style property.
However fans were quick to slam the ‘vile’ decor which mixed a traditional antique style with sparkles and a bizarre half naked mannequin.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan asked: ‘One question….WFH is Peggy’s house all about?’.
While a second wrote: ‘What is that weird-ass scantily clad Mannequin in Peggy’s room?!’.
Shock: Married at First Sight UK viewers were left bemused by Peggy’s lavish and somewhat bizarre family home on Monday
Lavish: During the latest episode the couples were given a taste of their new partner’s real lives away from the experiment, with Peggy taking Georges to her parent’s massive Tudor style property
Someone else wrote: ‘Does Peggy live in a Tudor house? No seriously, half expected to see the ghost of Elizabeth I shaking her head in disapproval’.
While another quipped: ‘Peggy’s Mam and Dad deffo vote against children having free school meals, state of that house looks like Downton Abbey’.
And: ‘I’m not being funny, but Peggy and her family are so old school I doubt they have Wi-Fi in their house’.
Someone else shared a snap of Peggy in her room beneath a mirror encrusted wall hanging which read ‘love’ and said: ‘Is it me or do they have this sign in every room?’.
And: ‘Peggy’s mum and dad also wanting to control Georges. All about precious Peggy. She’s not a princess despite living in the castle. Run fast Georges if you can find your way out of that house’.
It comes after viewers branded previously branded Laura’s pals ‘vile’ and ‘mean girls’ after their very heated exchange with groom Arthur.
During the confrontation both women grilled the tennis coach’s about his plans for after the experiment and his intensions for their friend.
The duo, who some fans branded ‘Cinderella’s evil step stepsisters’, continuously bemoaned Arthur for failing to impress them before calling him a ‘d***head’ in a foul-mouthed rant.
Strange: However fans were quick to slam the ‘vile’ decor which mixed a traditional antique style with sparkles and a bizarre half naked mannequin (Peggy’s parents pictured)
Unimpressed: Viewers took to social media to make their feelings known
As Laura seemingly failed to defend her beau, Arthur eventually lost his temper and told both women to ‘f*** off’ before storming out.
Viewers branded the London living ladies as ‘social climbers’ and said they were only being dramatic in a bid to nap a spot on Made In Chelsea.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one wrote: ‘Laura’s friends are evil wow’.
While a second wrote: ‘These greasy little social climbers (and yes, I’m including Laura in that) wouldn’t last a minute in the company of actual posh people. Sad little pretenders.
And: ‘Feels like the two of them are grilling Arthur so badly for screen time like it’s a made in Chelsea audition’.
While someone else said: ‘What are those made in Chelsea wannabes on about leave Arthur alone’.
A fifth added: ‘Laura your friends think they’re auditioning for made in Chelsea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’.
With another quipping: ‘These friends have watched too much TOWIE/ Made in Chelsea. So dramatic and there is no need!’.
A seventh wrote: ‘Laura’s friends are vile, they don’t want her to be happy’.
