Flying into a whole different league of luxury travel, one woman has revealed how she customized her private jet to be completely black inside and out.
Sandra Corinna Kinzl, who is based between Austria and the Netherlands, opened the door of her custom-built G450 Gulfstream for the YouTube channel Prop Clear.
In the video tour, she reveals the matte black exterior paint job alone cost $500,000 while the slick refurbishment set her back a further $5 million.
Shots of the plane reveal that all of the fixtures and fittings are completely black, with some shades of grey creeping in here and there.

Touching on some of the design features, she says she opted for fabric seats over ‘boring and old-fashioned’ leather and she sourced black marble from Italy for the galley and bathroom countertops.
She also designed the carpet herself, with the weave featuring a contemporary pattern in shades of black and grey.
To contrast with the matte finish of the cabin walls, Sandra opted for shiny chrome ceiling light mounts and air outlets, with seatbelt buckles to match.
The globetrotter said when she was looking for a plane to refurbish, she plumped for a Gulfstream G450 as it is the best in terms of size and range and ‘you can also fly [it] to the US.’
The plane is around 11 years old – with the 2012 model selling for just under $16 million on the second hand market.

She believes ‘it’s the most expensive paint job that was ever done on a G450’ and she commissioned a company called General Atomics to complete the work.

Sandra says she is a big fan of customization and she finds traditional private jets with ‘stripes and beige’ boring and unstylish
The aviation expert and entrepreneur is now using her private jet as a case study for her business SCK Aviation.
The consultancy firm specializes in helping clients to find an aircraft, refurbish it and track down the right operator to run it.
Sandra says she is a big fan of customization and she finds traditional private jets with ‘stripes and beige’ boring and unstylish.
She explains in one clip: ‘I find also the normal way of private flying – you know, the white airplanes with stripes and beige inside – that’s not what I would call [to] fly in style.’
To date, Sandra’s private jet tour on YouTube has been watched more than 64,000 times with many viewers applauding her grand designs.
One commenter wrote: ‘Wow that thing looks insane! I fly some very light jets and thought a Phenom 300 [aircraft] our client owns was fancy but this has got to be the best looking aircraft I’ve ever seen inside and out. Just wow!’
Another fan mused: ‘If I ever have a private plane it would definitely be like this. Black on black and especially matte black. Beautiful.’
