Whether it’s some relaxing classical as you enjoy your morning coffee, or a heavy rock anthem to get you hyped for a run, our music choices often change throughout the day.

‘Over the course of the day, your mood changes and so does the music you listen to,’ Spotify explained.
‘Spotify is excited to introduce you to daylist, a new and ever changing playlist that moves with you throughout the day.’

Daylist has launched today, and updates multiple times a day based on your previous listening habits.
‘Whether you’re having a “windows down thrillwave thursday evening” or a “happy dance energy friday morning”, daylist updates with new titles and tracks that evolve with you throughout the day,’ Spotify explained.
‘Simply put, it’s your day in a playlist.’
To find your Daylist, login to Spotify on desktop or web, and simply search ‘daylist’.
Your personalised playlist will appear with 50 songs, which are updated throughout the day.
MailOnline’s Shivali Best was given early access to the tool, and checked her Daylist at 10:15am.
Based on her listening history, at this time her playlist was titled ‘modern soul smooth morning’, with the next playlist update scheduled for 1:13pm.
Daylist is available from today to both Free and Premium users across the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.

‘We’ll continue to evolve the experience and bring it to even more users in the months to come,’ Spotify added.
The launch of Daylists comes shortly after the tech giant unveiled a new ‘AI DJ’ tool.
The DJ, dubbed X, features a ‘stunningly realistic voice’ and creates personalised mixes based on your music taste.
‘The DJ is a personalized AI guide that knows you and your music taste so well that it can choose what to play for you,’ Spotify explains.
‘This feature, first rolling out in beta, will deliver a curated lineup of music alongside commentary around the tracks and artists we think you’ll like in a stunningly realistic voice.’
