A person who has undergone modifications to their body for a decade says they’ve been branded a ‘devil’ by strangers – but insist sthey don’t care what others think.
Danny Englert, 24, has transformed their body into a unique creature called ‘Possession’ because they ‘don’t want to look human’.
The German body modification fanatic has spent eight years ensuring every aspect of their face and body is as far from humankind as is possible, including removing parts of their ears to look like a goblin and injecting ink into their eyes.
Although Possession, who is currently unemployed, is impressed with the ‘chaotic’ look, strangers aren’t too keen and often call them names, with some even attacking them.
They explained: ‘I don’t like humans and what they do to each other and the world they live in.

‘I want to modify myself until I don’t get recognised as a human.
‘I have tattoos on like a bit more than half of my body but a lot of them unfinished ’cause of the chaotic nature of my project’.
Eight years on from their first modification and around £2,200 later, Possession has inked over half of their body’s surface, and has gone to the extreme measures of piercing horns – also known as transdermal implants – into their head and chest.
To complete the edgy look, Possession has also injected ink into their gums and tongue to make them look darker, plus installed a new set of pointed teeth.
Possession began modifying their body at age 16, starting with a piercing, before quickly progressing to a full on transformation.
Performing almost all of the modifications themselves with the help of their mates, Possession claims to have saved thousands of pounds by doing so. They’ve become so good at it, they now modify the bodies of others.
‘I do nearly all of my mods, besides implants, myself or let my friends tattoo me,’ they said.
‘I’ve been learning body modifying for quite some time now and I’m the one my friends come to for piercings or scarifications, and small body mods.

‘I think my purpose is to make the people around me and myself look more edgy. It is my life’s work’.
One downside to their new lifestyle, is unwanted attention from trolls. They are often attacked by strangers, with some even calling them a ‘devil’.
On a night out with a friend, they claim they were kicked and punched, causing catastrophic damage to their new look.
They added: ‘People usually yell “devil” or “emo”, but that’s not a big deal.
‘Once there were three guys attacking a friend and me on our way home just for looking different and I lost one of my horns because of it.

‘We were partying at a club and on our way home when some guys were calling names to us.
‘They ran over and started punching and kicking us. We’re both not the strongest and couldn’t do much.
‘One of my transdermal implants got so damaged that part of the plate came out my head and I had to get it removed, but besides that we were okay.’
Instead of wallowing in despair, they has chalked it up to typical ‘human’ behaviour and has added it to ‘a list of reasons to dislike the human race’. However it appears Possession doesn’t hold such views about their family who are ‘accepting’.
‘I don’t really care what others think and say about my look because I do it for myself’ they continued.
‘My family doesn’t like it that much but they accept it and even kind of support it’.
The body modification addict hopes to have their horns re-implanted in their head and looks forward to seeing how else they can amend their face and body.
‘I am really hyped to see where this project will take me and how long it will take to finish it’.
